Aleksandr Ivanov-Sukharevsky : ウィキペディア英語版 | Aleksandr Ivanov-Sukharevsky Aleksandr Kuzmich Ivanov-Sukharevsky ((ロシア語:Александр Кузьмич Иванов-Сухаревский); born 26 July 1950 in Rostov-on-Don, Russian SFSR) is a far right politician in Russia who is the leader of the Peoples National Party (NNP). ==Early life== Ivanov-Sukharevsky was the son of a Red Army officer from the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic and a pharmacist from the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic whose family background came from a leading clan of Don Cossacks, with one of her ancestors lending his name to the Sukharev Tower.〔Stephen Shenfield, ''Russian Fascism: Traditions, Tendencies, Movements'', M.E. Sharpe, 2001, p. 222〕 He spent much of his childhood in East Germany, where his father was serving, before returning to Rostov, where in 1967 he entered a local military college.〔 However he lost interest in a military career, enrolling in Rostov State University in 1970 to study economics. This also failed to excite his interest and in 1974 he entered the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography, qualifying as a film director in 1979.〔
